Yesterday was seriously the best Valentines Day that I've ever had. This was my gift from Lee:

He made these himself and they are seriously the best sugar cookies that I have ever eaten.  LOOK AT THAT TEXTURE.  He got all down on himself because he "couldn't think of anything better" and I was like OMG NO SHUSH THESE ARE THE BEST EVER.

Anyway, this was my gift to him, along with an assortment of cookies that I had made for him (the picture is just a WIP, the finished product has a lot more on it):

Not gonna lie, I was so worried that he would just be like "Oh..." and it would get awkward and I'd feel really lame, but he grinned and was immediately like "It's adorable and I love it!" and then gave me a giant hug that went on forever and grossed his roommate out XD

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space.

We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

Having the car back is surreal, but in a good way.  I can actually go out and do stuff during the day, and more importantly, I can ship stuff out in a timely manner.  NO MORE MIDNIGHT WALMART TRIPS FOR ME (ok those will probably still happen).

I'm starting to take a little better care of myself by trying to get proper sleep, using mouthwash and dental floss (we had neither up until now), eating breakfast, and drinking a lot of green tea.  I mean, I already take pretty good care of myself, but there are little things (such as the aforementioned) that I need to step up.  I'll be working out in the near future as well.  OH, maybe I'll even get a haircut today, because I can actually do that now.  I'm also taking this eBay thing very seriously, because this IS my job and this is how I make money.  I actually get up in the morning and get dressed instead of lounging around the house in my pajamas all day, because I need to treat this professionally, even if it's not what I'm going to be doing forever. Overall, I just feel so much better about myself and life.

Anyway, I'm gonna post this song because I love it to death and it gets me up and going every day.

I'm going to consider these to be grails because they're SMT related and not going to appear anywhere (not even on YJP) for about a million years or without paying a million dollars.

The impossible to find:

- SMT III Limited Edition (Korean ver.)  (진 여신전생III-NOCTURNE) When SMT III was released, there was a Deluxe (Japan) and a Limited (Korean) version of the game.  The Deluxe version is fairly easy to find and will cost $120 at the most.  The Limited version, as far as I'm convinced, is nonexistent.  It includes a few interesting things, but the real draw about for the Limited version for me is a figurine of Parvati that is included with it.  "DO WANT" cannot even begin to describe how much I've lusted for this and how long and hard I've looked for it.
(For my own reference: SLKA 25076 Candyglobal)

- COSPA Demifiend/Hitoshura t-shirt I've never seen one for sale, despite all of my searching.  It's both COSPA and SMT related, therefore it's impossible to find.

-SMT III Maniax memory card I had the chance to buy this many years ago, but at the time I thought $40 was too much to spend.  This was before I realized how rare SMT merchandise tends to become.
- ペルソナ3ポータブル イヤホンアクセサリー/蝶 (earphone charms) I didn't find out about these until long after they had been released and sold out.  I've been searching for them for almost a year now and have had absolutely no luck.

The hard to find (not yet impossible, but soon)

ペルソナ3 P3P ファスナーアクセサリーC & D (fastener accessories) I have the A and B charms (MC and FMC), and I REALLY regret not picking up the other two and now they're really tough to find.  There was recently an auction for A and D, and it went for over 5,000Y T_T

The impossible to pay for

-Persona 3 Gekkoukan High Uniform (girls) When I have a spare $500 that I can blow my nose with, I will purchase this -_-

-Persona 3 Minato statue (Kotobukiya) and Elizabeth statue (Alter) Once again, when I have money that I can literally just throw away (current rate is now $250+ per statue), I will purchase these.

-SMT III Pachislot machine This tends to fluctuate in price.  I've seen it go as low as 25,000Y (plus something like 14,000Y for shipping) and as high as 100,000Y, but it's still something that I just absolutely cannot afford.  Do I want it?  OMFG YES.  Can I afford it?  ROFL.

This is my livejournal. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My livejournal is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My livejournal, without me, is useless. Without my livejournal, I am useless.
